(UPDATE: Dec. 14 @ 2 pm): Highway 1 is now fully open after an earlier vehicle incident. 

(UPDATE: Dec. 14, 2019 @ 8:50 am): Highway 1 is now open to single lane alternating traffic 20 km north of Boston Bar after a vehicle incident closed the road in both directions this morning. The road is expected to fully reopen sometime around 10 am.

DriveBC is reporting that Highway 1 is closed this morning due to a vehicle incident. 

The highway is closed in both directions 20 km north of Boston Bar.

An assessment is in progress, and the estimated time of reopening is 10 am.
